The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI’s) directive to Tata Sons, the holding company of the salt-to-software conglomerate, on mandatory stock exchange listing, has set the ball rolling at a fast speed on many fronts. Tata Sons, which could go for India’s biggest initial public offering (IPO) so far, is learnt to be getting ready for a crucial board meeting on September 17.
