Stock market live updates today: India Posts ties up with NSE
In a landmark step towards realizing the vision of Antyodaya – uplifting the last person in the queue – and building a Viksit Bharat by 2047, the Department of Posts (DoP) and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE), today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to partner on the NSE MF Invest Platform. This collaboration aims to transform the modest savings of millions of rural and small-town Indians into lasting wealth by channelling “stranded savings” into productive mutual fund investments.
The partnership leverages India Post’s network of over 1.64 lakh post offices (more than 80% in rural areas) and its deep-rooted trust among communities, combined with NSE’s cutting-edge, zero-cost NSE MF Invest platform. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap in mutual fund penetration, which remains low at approximately 10% of Indian households, predominantly urban, despite the industry’s robust growth—with Assets Under Management (AUM) surpassing ₹81 lakh crore and strong SIP inflows.

Stock market live updates today: Suranjana Borthakur, Head of Distribution & Strategic Alliances, Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India)
“January’s AMFI data shows that equity inflows moderated month-on-month and reverted closer to October levels at around ₹24,000 crore, even as overall investor participation remained steady. Flexi-cap funds continued to attract the highest inflows at about ₹7,600 crore, indicating sustained preference for diversified equity strategies amid volatile market conditions.
Focused funds recorded the highest month-on-month increase, though absolute inflows remained modest at around ₹1,500 crore. Large-cap inflows rose nearly 28% compared to the previous month, while sectoral and thematic funds saw limited traction, with a large part of the ₹423 crore inflows coming through NFOs.
SIP inflows remained resilient above ₹31,000 crore. Hybrid funds gained momentum, with inflows rising over 61% month-on-month. Multi-asset funds led the segment with close to ₹10,000 crore of inflows, while balanced advantage and arbitrage funds also saw higher interest during the month.”

US tariff relief soothes export sentiment, for now, in a volatile trade environment: ICRA
Outlook on apparel exports restored to Stable while that on cut and polished diamonds stays Negative.
Rating agency ICRA highlighted that the downward reset in US tariffs to 18% from the elevated levels seen in 2025 represents a relatively smooth landing for Indian exporters at a time when global trade dynamics remain fluid.
Following this development, the labour-intensive export sectors, including textiles, cut and polished diamonds, seafood, and footwear will see improved landed-cost competitiveness.
While the sentiment boost is immediate, the translation of this policy development into higher export volumes and margin restoration is likely to unfold with a lag, depending on how quickly contracts with US buyers are refreshed and how US demand patterns evolve, ICRA added.

Vaiibhavv Chugh, CEO, Abakkus Mutual Fund on the ‘AMFI Data’
‘The flows in the equity MFs have dropped a bit as expected. The slower flows are attributed to the market volatility specially around tariff issues which took time to get resolved. The last 18 months or so have been testing the patience however the investors and partners have shown tremendous resilience which in itself is a great development.
The time correction which we have seen, valuation froth from markets has slowly been coming down specifically on large caps thus attracting more flows. Though at index levels, small caps may appear a bit expensive however at stock levels, opportunities are emerging and we believe investors should now look at small caps as well.

Stock recommendation: Brokerages on Navin Fluorine
Jefferies on Navin Fluorine
Buy, TP Raised to Rs 7800
Strong beat with EBITDA/PAT 16%/14% ahead of JEFe, driven by strength in Specialty Chemicals.
Firm contract in CDMO, ramp-up of data center cooling product and R32 capacity provide visibility on strong earnings growth over FY27-28.
Net debt to equity 0.03x
Upgrade FY27/28E EPS 9%/7% & project 23% EPS CAGR over FY26-28E
Nuvama on Navin Fluorine
Buy, TP Raised to Rs 7653
stellar Q3FY26 showing was backed by growth in all three segments with specialty chemicals surpassing expectations especially in a challenging agrochemical industry. CDMO and HPP grew with CGMP-4 plant ramp-up and healthy R-32 realisations. As Q3FY26 beat all headline expectations, our FY26/27/28 estimates warrant an upgrade by 15%/11%/11% given sustainable EBTIDA margin expectations of 30% or more.
Growth levers remain solid across segments while backward integration from AHF should be margin accretive with a solid long-term optionality from sunrise sectors
UBS on Navin Fluorine
Buy, TP raised to Rs 7800
Q3 robust growth and improved margins; favourable outlook
All segments performed well; Specialty chemicals better than expectations
Capacity expansion to support medium to long term growth
Management indicated steady annualized EBITDA margins of c30%, supported by higher utilization of existing facilities.
Q4 momentum is expected to remain strong, benefiting from seasonal trends, & FY26 margins are likely to be higher than guided c30% level
CITI On Navin Fluorine
Sell, TP Raised to Rs 5500
3Q EBITDA up 110% yoy, 25% qoq on rampup in specialty chemical exports and higher EBITDA margins (34.5% vs 32.5% in 2Q and 24.3% in 3QFY25).
YoY expansion in NFIL’s EBITDA margins has been driven by a combination of higher gross margins and operating leverage.
NFIL has commissioned multiple projects (R32, HFO, Ag-chem) over past 3 years with its gross block increasing by >4x vs FY22.
Some of these capacities have ramped up with rest expected to be ramped up over the next couple of years.
That said, NFIL is up 57% in 1yr & at 29x FY27E EV/EBITDA, most of this upside appears to be factored in.

UBS on BSE
Buy, TP Raised to Rs 3650
Q3 - Market share gain continues
Revenue growth remains strong; profit misses forecasts on higher costs
Robust options premium ADTO in Q3FY26
Management remains optimistic that the rise in STT rates will have minimal impact on options volumes, consistent with past trends, though some effect on futures volumes is expected. Efforts are underway to improve liquidity in longer-dated contracts by boosting market participation.
Additionally, management foresees eventual market recognition of smart order routing’s benefits for enhanced price discovery, despite current adoption challenges, even with common contract note already implemented.

Hold, TP Raised to Rs 3050
PAT of Rs6.1bn was 5% higher than JEFe (in-line with consensus) led by 5% higher top-line, tad better opex excl. core SGF and adjusted for oneoff labor code change
Increase FY26-28e EPS by 4-7% pulling forward SENSEX share gains.
While market share gains remain a key short-term growth driver, lack of clarity on new products could become a growth challenge post FY29e.

Market analysis by Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus.com February 10, 2026
Bitcoin steadied around $70,372 on February 10 and clawed back ground after last week’s air-pocket drop to the $60,000 zone. This drop had flushed out leveraged positioning and dragged broader sentiment into “risk-off” mode. The rebound has been reactive rather than exuberant: Bloomberg noted the February swoon took BTC more than 50% off its record high of $126,251 reached roughly four months earlier.
Technically, the market is trying to build a floor near the low-$70,000s after the selloff tested deeper liquidity. Near-term support sits at $70,000, followed by the mid-$60,000s. Rallies are likely to meet supply in the $75,000-$76,000 band. These are levels that traders are watching to see if support has flipped to resistance after the breakdown.
The macro calendar is now the main catalyst. A dense US data week follows February 10. It includes the January employment report and the CPI release on February 11 and 13, respectively. US Fed Vice Chair Philip Jefferson has struck a cautiously optimistic tone on growth while stressing policy remains data-dependent. Separately, the New York Fed’s consumer survey showed one-year inflation expectations easing to 3.1% in January (from 3.4%).
Flows and on-chain data suggest stabilisation and not a clean risk-on turn. US spot Bitcoin ETF flows for February 9 were positive but incomplete.
Altcoins tracked the tentative rebound but remained selective. On CoinMarketCap, Ether rose to about $2,115, XRP to $1.45, Solana to $87, and BNB to $640. These gains look more like relief in a BTC-led tape than the start of a broad alt rally.
Our advice: For investors, key support is clustered near $70,000. There is a deeper structural floor in the $64,000-$66,000 zone. But be mindful that the near-term upside remains capped at $75,000–$76,000. Traders should stay nimble, manage leverage conservatively, and wait for clearer confirmation of spot demand before adding risk. Do not chase short bursts and rallies. Look for clear confirmations before adding capital.

Financial markets update: Stable RBI stance revives bonds as a portfolio anchor; focus on high-quality, medium-term papers for stability amid equity and gold volatility
Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer at Master Capital Services Ltd.
With the RBI keeping interest rates unchanged and clearly hinting that rates may not move anytime soon, bonds are slowly coming back into focus. When rates are stable, the fear of sudden losses in bond prices reduces, which makes this a more comfortable space for investors. In the current environment, where equities are volatile and gold prices are swinging sharply, bonds can act as an anchor in the portfolio.
At this stage, it is better to stay with high-quality bonds and medium-term maturity papers rather than taking big bets on long-duration bonds. Investors should avoid chasing high yields and stick to safer options like PSU bonds or strong corporate issuers. Investing in a phased manner also makes sense. Overall, bonds should be looked at as a tool for stability and predictable returns, not quick gains.

Global markets update: apan's Nikkei, Topix hit record highs on earnings, 'Takaichi trade' optimism
Japan’s Nikkei share average surged to a record high in early Tuesday trade, following robust quarterly earnings and momentum from Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s landslide victory in Sunday’s general election.
The Nikkei 225 Index jumped 2.5% to 57,760.09 by 0120 GMT on Tuesday. The broader Topix, which also hit a record intra-day high, advanced 1.9% to 3,854.16. The Nikkei is up 12% so far this year. Earnings season is underway in the world’s fourth-largest economy, and markets are buoyed by expectations that Takaichi’s overwhelming victory would enable her to push through big spending and tax relief. - Reuters

Q3 results: NSE 3QFY26 Earnings call
Financial Performance
Total income on consolidated basis increased sequentially, driven by higher cash and derivatives market volumes and strong listing activity.
Transaction charges rose 9% QoQ, supported by growth across cash, futures, and options.
Listing services revenue increased 26% QoQ, led by a higher number of listings during the quarter.
Colocation revenues remained broadly flat QoQ, despite an increase in rack count. Management indicated that higher rack utilisation and normalisation of connectivity charges should support revenue growth going forward.
Operating investment income declined 15% QoQ, mainly due to lower income at the Clearing subsidiary, driven by volatility in flexi fixed deposits rates.
Standalone total income rose 21% QoQ, aided by dividend income from subsidiaries and improved trading volumes.
Other expenses rose 66% QoQ due to the one-off provision of INR1.3b labour code impact; excluding this, expenses increased only ~3% QoQ.
Clearing Corporation: Total Income was at ~INR14.8b and PAT at ~INR7.8b.
Data Analytics: Total Income was at ~INR3.7b and PAT at ~INR1.3b.
NSE Indices Ltd.: Total Income was at ~INR1.4b and PAT at ~INR810m.
NSE IFSC division: Total Income was at ~INR1b and PAT at ~INR40m.
The SGF contributions have been minimal over the last 2–3 quarters, with adequate headroom across segments. Management does not intend to increase SGF contributions materially.

NSE received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from SEBI for listing-related activities.
During Q3FY26, a total of INR 5.4t was raised on the platform across equity, debt, and business trusts.

Debt issuances through Commercial Papers (CPs) aggregated to INR7.1t and NCDs at INR4.1t as of 9MFY26.
Over 9MFY26, seven municipal corporations raised ~INR7.5b, marking the highest number of issuances in any year since SEBI introduced Municipal Bond Regulations (2015).
NSE continues to prioritise deepening the corporate bond market, working closely with SEBI and key public debt market participants.
Management guided to reach a total of ~1,800 racks by Q4FY26, and has the capacity to scale beyond 4,000 racks within the existing infrastructure.
Investor education initiatives remained robust, with 16k programmes conducted in 9MFY26, reaching over 0.84m participants.
Product launches:
NSE has already emerged as a market leader in electricity futures introduced in Jul’25 with 73% share, with monthly electricity futures continuing to gain momentum.
Crude oil contracts ADT recorded a 23% YoY growth, with volumes of ~8.5m barrels in Q3FY26. A revision in crude oil contract expiry (implemented in Dec’25) led to a ~200% surge in ADT, reflecting improved liquidity.
Approval has been received for the incorporation of a Coal Exchange, with an initial capital infusion of INR1b.
NSE is working on natural gas contracts linked to Indian prices, supported by its tie-up with the Indian Gas Exchange.
NSE has applied for SEBI approval for corporate and government bond index derivatives.

New products under watch include SIFs (Specialised Investment Funds) and additional commodity derivatives.

Global markets: Wall Street advances as tech bounces further off of recent losses
Indexes up: Dow 0.04%, S&P 500 up 0.47%, Nasdaq up 0.90%
The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose solidly after a shaky start on Monday, as technology stocks found their footing following last week’s AI-sparked selloff, while investors waited for key economic data that could shed light on the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate path.
While the Dow notched its second closing record in a row with a small gain, the S&P 500 ultimately finished short of its closing record.
The S&P 500 technology sector finished up 1.6% to extend Friday’s gains after a steep selloff last week. The S&P 500 Software Services index ended up 2.9% as it clawed back some losses for a second day after a bruising seven days of losses fueled by fears that AI could intensify competition. - Reuters

Regulatory move: SEBI proposes slashing minimum investment in social impact funds to ₹1,000
SEBI on Monday proposed a sharp reduction in the minimum investment required from individual investors in social impact funds to Rs 1,000 from the existing Rs 2 lakh, in a move aimed at widening retail participation and easing fundraising for not-for-profit organisations (NPOs) on the Social Stock Exchange (SSE).
In its consultation paper, SEBI also proposed extending the registration period for NPOs on the SSE without fundraising and lowering the minimum subscription requirement for issuing Zero Coupon Zero Principal Instruments (ZCZP). - PTI
