PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayOne of the many industry shakeups in 2024, Giant officially acquired the bankrupt Stages Cycling last fall. It wasn’t clear at the time if that meant that we would see the Stages brand survive, or if we would see Giant-branded powermeters with Stages tech. Eurobike answered at least part of that question with the return of Stages Cycling – with new product as well.

Now fully owned by Giant (and still with many of the original employees), Stages is currently offering a range of single and dual-sided power meters for Shimano cranksets. That includes the new cranksets for Shimano XT and XTR Di2 groups, which will officially launch this fall.
Stages will also continue to offer the 9100 and 8100 cranks for existing Shimano XT and XTR groups, along with road power meters for Shimano 105 through Dura Ace, and GRX. The cranks for 105 and GRX are left side only, though.

Both the XT M8200/8220 and XTR M9220 power meter cranks will be available in left side only, right side only, or dual arms, depending on your needs.
Stages is also continuing to produce their commercial indoor training bikes, and will be honoring a warranty for existing products that were purchased before the acquisition. The warranty is good for two years from the original date of purchase and includes access to tech support, repair, or replacement.
