Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayNews from Northern California. It appears that from this point forward, the Specialized Stumpjumper 15 will now officially be referred to as the Stumpjumper 15 EVO. This decision was made after listening to both rider and retailer feedback, and then “evolved through meaningful, performance-focused spec updates”. So, perhaps not just a name change.

Specialized said that “With more travel and more control, the MY26 Stumpjumper 15 EVO punches well above its weight and now wears the name to match.”
Let’s check out what makes it EVO…
In the suspension and geometry category, the new Stumpjumper 15 EVO will bump front fork travel from 150mm to 160mm. Additionally, the rear shock is upgraded from the standard FOX Float w/ Genie to FOX Float X Genie with piggyback.

The Stumpjumper 15 EVO’s geometry gets a 0.5-degree slacker head tube angle from the longer fork. Also, the cockpit will bring a higher-rise handlebar for better control and trail feel.

The tires will be updated to a Butcher and Eliminator combo for better grip and added confidence. Specialized thinks that the model year 2026 Stumpjumper 15 EVO will “live in that sweetspot between trail agility and all-mountain rowdiness.”

The new Stumpjumper 15 EVO will be available in an Expert EVO model and an S-Works EVO model – if that’s it, there will be a drastic reduction in the number of builds going forward. We’ve confirmed that following the new releases, the Stumpjumper line will officially change to the Stumpjumper EVO, but the Specialized website still shows a number of the current Stumpjumper 15s in stock.
