Sony Pictures Releasing has teased Michael B.Jordan‘s The Thomas Crown Affair, with first teaser trailer and revenge is a work of art.

2025 was a big year for Jordan with Sinners. He was only the third actor to win Best Actor Award at The Oscars with Fredric March (1931, Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde) and Anthony Hopkins for The Silence Of The Lambs (1991). They say the world is your Oyster when you win one of those little gold statues, for Jordan it’s not just star but co-write, Produce and directs the film.

Jordan’s The Thomas Crown Affair will be the third version. The original came out in 1968 starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, in 1999 it was Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. The original was seen as a visually ground breaking films with great chemistry and stylish to the max.

What’s this all about? The most dangerous man in the room is the one nobody’s watching. Thomas Crown (Jordan) is a bored ultra wealthy billionaire who steals for kicks. He steals a priceless piece of art finding him into an romantic cat and mouse chase.

The rest of the cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Adria Arjona, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurria, and Pilou Asbæk.

It’s early days for The Thomas Crown Affair, it’s looking like it will live up to the stylish tag the previous films have garnered. This film will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas on 5th March 2027.
