PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAt the past few Sea Otter shows, Brendan Carberry (AKA Outsidebrendan) has been a recurring guest at the Marin booth. Probably best known for his creative takes on bike parts that lean heavily on 3D printing, Marin brought Brendan to Eurobike this year with his most ambitious project yet – the ultimate trail builder’s bike.

Even at first glance, it’s a cool-looking bike, but when you dig into the details, it’s even more impressive. The most obvious addition to the Marin Pine Mountain prototype is the EGO chainsaw on the back. Electric chainsaws are amazing tools for trail work due to how quickly you can get them started and operational. The rack makes it even faster to bust out the saw and clear downed trees.
The custom rack features 3D-printed panels with hexagon pucks that can be mounted in various locations to best fit the needs of the rider. In this case, the rack panels are carrying three extra batteries for the EGO saw… and the Bimotal ebike drive on the front wheel.

Yes, the Bimotal system uses a similar 52v battery system as the EGO saw, so Brendan created a custom wiring harness so that the batteries could be interchangeable between the ebike drive and the saw. The battery powering the bike mounts on the underside of the front rack, which is bolted to the head tube with custom mounts.

Currently, there aren’t any plans to produce the bike or the components, but maybe if enough people request it…
