PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayOrbea just launched the all-new Terra Race, and boy, does it look fast. The devil is in the details, and the new Terra Race is full of little bits to make it an efficient bike on gravel and the road. With a race-tuned geometry, cable-free front end, and a super unique compliant but stiff rear triangle. This new race-focused version of the Terra will have many riders looking for their Orbea dealer this summer.

Hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of the updated do-it-all Orbea Terra comes the Terra Race, a new model designed for speed during training and racing. Orbea’s decision to split the Terra lineup into two models doesn’t come as a huge surprise, given that other brands like Trek have made similar design choices recently.
Now, Orbea is also offering riders the option to choose between the versatile, all-around Terra or the race-focused Terra Race, allowing them to select the bike that best suits their needs.

This one’s for the racers—the folks chasing podiums at Unbound, duking it out in the dust at BWR, or shaving seconds off gravel crit laps. With a sub-kilo OMX carbon frame and tuned-for-speed geometry, the Terra Race is everything you want when the course gets fast, and the terrain doesn’t play nice.

Light, Stiff, Aero — Pick Three
The new Terra Race starts with Orbea’s top-shelf OMX carbon layup—laser-cut, high-modulus fibers placed with surgical precision. The result is a very light, 910g frame (claimed size medium, unpainted) that’s a full 300g lighter than the outgoing model. Toss in a 425g matching OMX fork, and you’ve got a platform that’s not only featherweight but race-ready stiff where it counts.

Every bit of the frame is shaped for speed; Full internal cable routing? Check. Sleek OC SH-RA10 Aero cockpit? Yep. Hidden seatpost clamp? Borrowed straight from Orbea’s road bikes. Add a vibration-damping rear triangle that keeps you connected (but not rattled), and you’ve got a ride that balances punchy acceleration with just the right amount of compliance.

Modular, Adaptable, and MyO Custom
Orbea knows gravel doesn’t come in one flavor. That’s why the Terra Race is built around adaptability. 1x or 2x? Your call. Tire clearance up to 45mm? That’s a yes. UDH compatibility for hassle-free repairs and wide drivetrain support? Absolutely.

For riders who want to squeeze every aero watt out of their rig, the OQUO RP50LTD carbon wheels bring deep-section speed to dirt. The 50mm profile reduces drag, while the wide internal rim provides your tires with more bite and cushion. Translation: go fast, stay smooth.

Orbea Terra Race – Geometry
No question—Orbea’s new Terra Race means business. Its geometry is sharpened with purpose, dialing in a lower stack and longer reach to help riders get low, stay aero, and stay fast.

Compared to the outgoing Gen 2 Terra, the Terra Race drops the stack by 10mm on a size medium, clearly aimed at riders who want that race-day fit without compromise. It’s a subtle shift, but one that speaks volumes: this bike isn’t built for meandering—it’s built to go full tilt.

Out back, a 1,026mm wheelbase stretches the frame longer than that of some other purebred gravel racers. That added length brings welcome stability when the speeds ramp up, especially in today’s high-velocity gravel scene, where 30mph pacelines and sketchy surfaces are the norm.

MyO Customization
And, of course, you get Orbea’s legendary MyO customization platform—choose your paint, touchpoints, and drivetrain, or dial in your fit with cockpit options, including flared bars, riser stems, and multiple crank lengths. Stock colors? Frozen Concrete, Spaceship Green, or Sunset Carbon. But if it were me and I had the scratch, I would go totally custom.
