Achraf Hakimi scored a hat-trick and provided two assists as Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to thrash Le Havre 5-1 and move four points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

Josh Maja had given the bottom side a surprise lead, but Mika Godts equalised before Hakimi struck twice either side of half-time. Senny Mayulu added a fourth before the Moroccan completed his treble.

Le Havre stunned the visitors in the 18th minute when a swift counter-attack ended with Rayan Fofana picking out Maja, who finished past Matvey Safonov from close range.

PSG responded quickly, with Hakimi collecting Lucas Hernandez’s long pass before setting up Godts to equalise in the 26th minute.

Two minutes later, the visitors were ahead. Mayulu released Hakimi through on goal, and the defender fired past Arnaud Bodart, with VAR overturning an initial offside decision.

Luis Enrique’s side took control after the interval and extended their advantage in the 55th minute.

Hakimi stepped up to a free-kick outside the penalty area and curled a low effort around the wall into the bottom corner.

Le Havre almost responded when Maja headed against the post, but PSG immediately punished the hosts.

Hakimi threaded a pass through for Mayulu, who rounded the stranded Bodart before rolling into an empty net.

The PSG captain completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute when Godts found him inside the area. Bodart saved his initial effort, but the rebound struck Hakimi and looped into the net.

Le Havre continued to threaten late on, with Safonov producing excellent saves to deny Mbwana Samatta and Ndiaye.
