KL Deemed to be University, Vijayawada, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi-based civil services coaching institute Vajiram & Ravi IAS to offer integrated UPSC coaching to students from this academic year.

Announcing the partnership at a media conference in Vijayawada on Friday, university Vice-Chancellor G. Parthasaradhi Varma said the coaching programme will be offered to students enrolled in the university’s B.A. programme, with an IAS orientation course.

As part of the agreement, Vajiram & Ravi IAS will conduct civil services coaching on the KL University campus and provide the students with updated study material. Students will be trained for both the preliminary and mains examinations while pursuing their three-year undergraduate courses.

The programme will include offline and online classes, access to a dedicated digital learning portal, recorded lectures, subject-wise tests, test series and mentorship from faculty of the coaching institute.

He said the integrated programme was designed to enable students to complete the UPSC civil services syllabus alongside their graduation. Students enrolled in the B.A.-IAS orientation programme will not have to pay any additional fee for the coaching.

The collaboration aims to provide structured preparation for civil services examinations during undergraduate studies to students, he said.

Head of the Arts Department Anil Kumar, Competitive Examinations Advisor Srinivas Puttum, Director of Admissions J. Srinivas and Dean, MHS M. Kishore Babu were also present.
