Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySelf-described “fun guy” Kawhi Leonard returned to Toronto Raptors media day on Monday, where seven years earlier he began his journey with a viral video clip and culminating by leading Toronto to its first and only championship in franchise history. When asked by Toronto Star reporter Doug Smith — who originally asked Leonard in 2019 a question that led to his viral laugh video — if he was still a fun guy, Leonard replied "For sure" with a grin. Asked what he thought about the viral clip so many years later Leonard replied, "If I can make people laugh... I'm not embarrassed by it." Leonard was also asked about the KaWineAndDine campaign which has now returned to Toronto. The viral movement encouraged Toronto restaurants to place window badges pledging free food for life if Kawhi re-signed with the team in 2019. "I want to know who told them I like to eat," Leonard said laughing, adding; "I'm older now so I can’t eat as much." Toronto acquired Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers in June. But the deal wasn’t finalized until earlier this month after the NBA investigated Leonard and the Clippers for salary-cap circumvention. Leonard signed a two-year extension with Toronto, returning to the franchise he helped win its only NBA title in 2019.
