A brand new series is airing very soon on ITV as The Chase is going on a global adventure with the beloved quizzing experts.

The stakes are higher than ever before in ITV's exciting new spin-off of The Chase.

Since The Chase first kicked off back in 2009, it's remained a staple on ITV as people try to earn some cash against the quizzing experts.

Now, fans will see a new format as The Chase is going global in a new spin-off, with the broadcaster sharing a first look at what people can expect to see.

The Chase Around the World will follow six pairs who are tasked with locating all six of the Chasers who are hiding in various locations across the world. Using their general knowledge, observational prowess and intellect, the contestants need to utilise their puzzle-solving skills to achieve their objective- find the quizzers.

As they encounter landmarks and culturally significant sites during their hunt, the pairs need to solve puzzles and riddles along the way. However, the final pair to arrive must face off against the Chasers to remain in the competition and make it through to the next destination.

Their final destination will see the remaining contestants compete for a life-altering prize as they face off against whoever is left and the Chasers.

In a video, which was shared on ITV's Instagram, Bradley Walsh says: "The Chase is going global. Six chasers, six pairs of contestants and one epic chase.

"Because in this game, the more you know, the further you go. If you want to star in the game, you're going to have to take on the best in the world."

During the clip, people can see various locations that contestants are running through, such as Rome and Brazil. One snippet shows a woman speeding on a boat, while another clip sees contestants running up steps trying to get to their destination.

A segment shows the players with a virtual tablet in their hands, telling them they got an answer correct and, therefore, granted access to the next part of the game.

It then ends with a close-up of Jenny' The Vixen' Ryan and Mark 'The Beast' Labbett as they stand in front of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona.

They captioned the post: "BOOKING CONFIRMED. Trip: Some seriously epic locations. Travellers: Six Chasers & six pairs of contestants. Mission: Stay one step ahead."

It wasn't long before people commented on the post, with many sharing their excitement over the new series. One person said: "Can't wait to see it." Someone else wrote: "This is gonna be a lot of fun!"

Another added: "This looks like it's going to be good." As one fan wrote: "The Chase is going international!"

Speaking about the new show, Bradley Walsh said: "This bold new take on The Chase combines quizzing with travelling and will test contestants' knowledge like never before.

"The Chasers are already famous around the world, so fans can look forward to seeing them ply their trade in some superb secret locations."

It's not yet known when The Chase Around the World will air.
