Huffy is reviving a highly recognized name from the 1980s BMX scene with the return of the Pro Lightning BMX complete race bike line. The new Pro Lightning line is built with up-and-coming racers in mind.

The lineup will include three builds: the Junior, Expert, and Pro. Each build will be priced at only $399.99. That price gets you a competition-ready BMX bike, ready to go right outta the gate. With accessibility in mind, this price point allows riders to get into BMX without the added cost of a custom build.

Pro Lightning, Ready to Race!

Each Pro Lightning bike arrives fully assembled and ready to race right outta the box, which means no waiting on parts, worrying about compatibility, or dealing with complex builds before hitting the track.

The bikes aren’t messing around. They are built around a 6061 aluminum frame, mechanical disc brakes, high-tensile steel handlebars, a Euro bottom bracket, a 3-piece crankset, and an integrated headset.

While the builds are truly ready to go from day one, the Pro Lightning line is also designed to be upgraded over time as riders develop their style and preferences.

The Pro Lightning relaunch is part of Huffy’s broader return to BMX. That return kicked off in 2024, when the brand assembled a new team of athletes including Ethan Popovich, Carly Kane, Huck Kurinsky, and Nick Bruce.
