Amalapuram Member of Parliament G.M. Harish Balayogi took up the long-pending Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line project with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Tuesday. 

A delegation led by Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni and Mr. Harish Balayogi met the Union Minister and invited Mr. Vaishnaw to the State Dasara celebrations and Vijayawada Utsav-2.0. 

During the meeting, Mr. Harish Balayogi informed the Railway Minister that the State government had given administrative sanction for ₹100 crore towards the Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line project, and committed to sharing 25% of the total cost of the project. 

Mr. Harish Balayogi in an official release claimed that Mr. Vaishnaw lauded the State government’s commitment to the railway project. An action plan was also discussed to speed up the railway project.”  

Mr. Harish has also assured the Railways Minister of coordinating with the NDA partners in the State to complete the railway project.
