Davina McCall is making the most of the heatwave and stripped down to a tiny bikini as she soaked up the sun while 'living her best life' following a string of health issues

Davina McCall wasted no time enjoying the sun as she "lived her best life". The telly legend, 58, stripped down to a tiny pink bikini earlier today as the nation basked in its third heatwave in recent weeks.

Forecasters have announced that 2026 is the first year to have recorded temperatures of 35C or higher on six separate days, as the UK faces its third heatwave in three months. 2026 has also become the first year to see temperatures of 35C or higher in three calendar months and broke the record for most temperatures of 34C or higher, with nine so far this summer.

But Davina wasted no time in getting out into her garden on Friday and ensured that she was ready to catch a perfect tan. The Big Brother legend looked incredible as she showcased her gym-honed physique while wearing a pink bikini and matching cowboy boots.

The broadcaster completed her look with a gold necklace as she held up an ice cream and flashed a huge smile at the camera. Captioning her post, Davina penned: "Just a 58-year-old living her best life."

It comes after the star admits that she's been too hard on herself, having been worrying about being a good mother, as well as balancing her workload while going through the menopause and also facing health setbacks.

After breast cancer and brain surgery, she is giving herself a break and enjoying being newly married to partner Michael Douglas. 'I have recently given myself a big cuddle about getting through the last year and a half," she said.

Speaking to the Mirror, Davina added: "It was the hardest year and a half of my whole life, the end of 2024 and the whole of 2025 was impossibly difficult, but it ended with a wedding, and that was really beautiful."

In 2024, the TV star went under the knife to remove a colloid cyst, which could have resulted in her being placed in a coma had it not been removed. The surgery involved part of her skull being removed in order to take the tumour out.

And in October 2025, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In April, she told her online fans that she had been given the "all clear" following surgery. Last year on her Begin Again podcast, Davina told how she had written "letters of wishes" to her children Holly, Tilly and Chester, whom she shares with her ex-husband Matthew Robinson, in case she had died during her brain surgery.

Thankfully, the letters and the Will she wrote were not needed, but the whole experience of going through such a big operation has clearly given Davina a different perspective on life.

Davina, speaking at the Leadenhall Live festival, said that conversations surrounding death are the "last big taboo". And when she went into the hospital for her brain surgery, she told the surgeons they were "brilliant" at their jobs and knew they were going to do their "best" for her.

She said: "And then the anaesthetist put in the anaesthetic, and as I was falling asleep, I just said 'love, love, love' all the way, and I was okay with not making it, but I'd got my life in order."
