Conor McGregor was pictured getting up close and personal with a mystery woman on a Fort Lauderdale beach in Florida last year, and his wife Dee Devlin was quick to make her feelings clear

Dee Devlin stuck by husband Conor McGregor after pictures emerged of the UFC fighter kissing an unidentified woman last year.

The former two-division UFC champion was snapped getting cosy with a bikini-clad woman on a Fort Lauderdale beach last July. In photographs that have been made visible since, McGregor placed his hand on her thigh, draped his arm across her shoulder, and appeared to kiss her on the lips.

His wife, Devlin, was quick to take to social media for the first time since the pictures emerged. However, she made no reference to them in her post, instead marking McGregor's 37th birthday. She reshared a message from a fan page on her Instagram story that read: "Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile."

The tribute featured a collection of clips showing the couple enjoying happy times together. The duo have been together for over 15 years after meeting in a nightclub as teenagers, became engaged in 2020, officially tied the knot last year and share four children – sons Conor Jr, Rian, Mack, and their daughter Croia.

Their relationship has endured numerous challenges, most notably McGregor's civil rape case. In November 2024, a High Court civil jury determined he was civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand. He was accused of "brutally raping and battering" Ms Hand at a hotel in south Dublin in November 2018. McGregor insisted that their sexual encounter at the Beacon Hotel was consensual.

The jury ruled in her favour, awarding €248,603.60 in damages. McGregor launched an appeal against the verdict which began last July, but eventually lost. Standing beside McGregor once more as they left the High Court two years ago, Devlin subsequently voiced her steadfast support on social media: "My man and I have created a beautiful life together. I love him I trust him and I BELIEVE HIM!.

"Our four beautiful children whose smiling faces and happy hearts are testimony to the man he is and who we are! No one is entitled to comment on our relationship - we trust one another and love one another. Nothing or nobody will change that. Our family stands strong!"

McGregor has now been away from the UFC for five years. His last bout, a second consecutive loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, resulted in a broken leg. He was due to make a stunning comeback in 2024 against Michael Chandler, but was forced to pull out after breaking his toe in training.

His last win inside the cage came six years ago - a 40 second demolition of Donald Cerrone. While many have remained sceptical over a comeback, the Irishman is set to end a five-year hiatus this evening when he takes on Max Holloway in a welterweight showdown - 13 years on from their initial encounter.
