British counter-terrorism police have arrested a dual UK-Iranian national on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts. The arrest follows a security incident near the RAF base in Fairford, which triggered a major police response. Five men were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of terrorism and explosives offences but were later released on bail. The US has operated from the base during the Iran war.
