Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway2026’s Halloween weekend has seen a neck-and-neck contest at the box office between horror filmmaker James Watkins‘ Clayface, starring Tom Rhys Harries as a man left disfigured in a mob attack, which results in a pursuit of villainy and vengeance, and You Can See Everything, Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s latest metadocumentary charting the aftermath of businesswoman Elizabeth Holmes facing fraud charges surrounding an alleged breakthrough in blood testing.
Saturday’s crown went to Clayface thanks to ticket sales amounting to $4.275 million. However, Fielder and Oppenheim’s documentary on Holmes proved victorious the next day, having earned $3.45 million, while Clayface dropped down by $1.47500 million with a total earning of $2.8 million.
Made on a budget of $30-$44 million, DC’s first horror movie racked up $10.4 million over this Halloween weekend while the A24 documentary earned $10.6 million, topping Watkins’ comic adaptation by exactly $200,684.
Clayface’s box office total amounts to $83 million globally, having earned American and Canadian sales of $44 million and $39 million overseas. It was predicted to gross $45–$55 million globally as an opener, made from $25–35 million domestically and $20–$25 million internationally, meaning it has topped its initial estimates by $33-$38 million. It beat its domestic predictions by $9 million-$19 million and its overseas by $14 million-$19 million.

However, it hit $5.5 million on its first day, increasing its estimated earnings by around 73% to $12–14 million, with its final debut weekend profit amounting to $15.6 million, a 95% increase from its initially predicted box office.
The film’s run opened to 2,655 theatres for its second weekend, having made history as the biggest opening for a film running in under 1,000 theatres, with the last impressive example of such an achievement being 2009’s Borat, which grossed $26.4 million as an opener in a similar number of screenings.
