BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 13. Since the end of the 2020 war, 438 people have fallen victim to landmines in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry wrote about this on its X page.

"Two consecutive days. Two landmine explosions. Three civilians injured.

Since the end of the 2020 war, 436 people have fallen victim to landmines in #Azerbaijan.

These tragic incidents are a stark reminder that the deadly legacy of conflict continues to threaten lives, hinder reconstruction and impede the safe return of displaced persons," the ministry wrote.
