Two Tsawwassen First Nation elders were killed Wednesday when a pickup truck towing a trailer struck pedestrians outside Tsawwassen Mills in Delta, B.C.  At least four people were hit as people gathered for a Truth and Reconciliation Day walk organized by the First Nation. Delta police said the driver may have experienced a medical emergency before losing control of the vehicle. “All I feel now is just hope and prayer for the families that lost someone,” resident Adrian Broadwood said, as community members gathered to honour the victims.
