BRAZIL, 1971. Brazil faces the tightening grip of a military dictatorship. Eunice Paiva, a mother of five children, is forced to reinvent herself after her family suffers a violent and arbitrary act by the government.
The Oscar-winning I’m Still Here is based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva’s biographical book and tells the true story that helped reconstruct an important part of Brazil’s hidden history. From acclaimed director Walter Salles, the film stars Oscar Nominee Fernanda Torres, Selton Mello, Valentina Herszage, Fernanda Montenegro, Barbara Luz and Olivia Torres.
The film won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) at the Golden Globes and Best Screenplay at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
