Indian airlines have brought back nearly 15,000 stranded passengers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman since the beginning of this week.

Recovery flights began on March 2, and the figures are until March 5. On Friday (March 6, 2026), 40 inbound flights were conducted, the Civil Aviation Ministry said in a statement.

As many as 51 flights are planned on Saturday (March 7, 2026) — the highest since airstrikes in the region began on February 28.

In addition to Indian carriers, Gulf airlines such as Emirates, flydubai, and Etihad have also operated some special flights and a limited number of commercial services.

The Ministry has also set up a control room and helpline for passengers seeking travel assistance. The numbers are 011-24604283 and 011-24632987.
