Efforts are being relaunched to find Amelia Earhart's plane, 80 years after the American pilot and her navigator vanished over the Pacific Ocean while attempting to become the first woman to fly around the world. Purdue Research Foundation is probing a popular theory that the pair weren't killed in an ocean crash, but were marooned and died on a remote island in the Central Pacific, a theory partly based on these grainy satellite images.
