Farm equipment maker VST Tillers Tractors Ltd reported a 9.36 per cent rise in profits for the quarter ended June this fiscal at ₹48.73 crore. The company had reported a profit of ₹44.56 crore in the same period last year.
Revenues from operations were up 11 per cent at ₹313.4 crore over corresponding last quarter’s ₹282.5 crore, amidst supply disruptions.
Operational EBITDA was up 7.5 per cent at ₹40.29 crore from corresponding last quarter’s ₹37.50 crore. Operational EBITDA margin is at 12.85 per cent despite commodity inflationary pressure.
The company sold 13,801 power tillers during the quarter, registered a growth of 17.9 per cent over corresponding last quarter’s 11,701 units. Domestic tractor sales were up 4.5 per cent at 985 units (943 units in the same period last year). Tractor exports were lower by around 12 per cent at 275 units (312). However, sales of power weeders were up 56.7 per cent at 3,680 (2,349). Power reaper sales were down 65 per cent during the quarter at 28 units (80).
