During Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa, Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered a message of unity. In his first official Canada Day message, Carney said that at points in its history, the country has had to step up during "inflection points." "Our values are being tested by attacks on democracy and freedoms that we must resist."
