BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin held his third meeting with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant following Iran's attack on Israel over the weekend, US Department of Defense spokesman Pat Ryder said, Trend reports.

"The minister stressed that although the United States does not seek escalation, we will continue to take all necessary measures to protect Israel and American personnel," Ryder noted.
