The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold an emergency meeting Sunday after the U.S. joined Israel's air campaign against Iran, launching strikes on three nuclear sites. The United States' attack has raised questions about what remains of Iran's nuclear program, and how it might retaliate. Iran has said the U.S. has crossed "a very big red line" in launching the Saturday attacks, but the Trump administration has signaled a desire to restart diplomatic talks between the two countries. Hours after the U.S. launched its attack, Iran launched more than 40 missiles toward Israel on Sunday morning, injuring 23 people and destroying apartment buildings and homes in three Israeli cities.
