Two persons were found brutally murdered by unknown assailants in the fields of Gandavaram village in Kodavalur mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Monday (March 30, 2026) morning. The deceased have been identified as Kundurthi Venkatesh (26) and Koppala Bala Venkaiah (25), both from Pedaputhedu village of Dagadarthi mandal in the district.

Venkatesh was a married man, while Venkaiah was unmarried. According to the preliminary investigation of the Kodavalur police, an alleged illicit relationship could be a reason behind the double murder. The police officials have launched a thorough investigation probing the case in all angles.
