Donald Trump bombed Iran on Saturday, and is now considering the potential for retaliation.

Trump announced over the weekend that the U.S. had bombed multiple sites in Iran, and one GOP lawmaker said the action was unconstitutional. Political onlookers blasted the president's decision, and one prominent Democrat even raised the potential for impeachment.

After a press statement on the topic, Trump took to his own social media site, Truth Social, to issue a follow-up warning to Iran.

In an all-caps statement, Trump said, "ANY RETALIATION BY IRAN AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL BE MET WITH FORCE FAR GREATER THAN WHAT WAS WITNESSED TONIGHT."

He then added, "THANK YOU! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES."
