Two years after the film was first announced, it’s set to have its much-awaited cinematic premiere next year, with Shelby arriving on the big screen.
Tom Harper directs a script written by the show’s creator Steven Knight, and Cillian Murphy is once again Shelby. First impressions are of the industrial Birmingham we expect and there seems a reflective haunting tone, but why is Tommy saying he’s not the same man? Something has clearly changed … The story is set during World War II and the dark hand of fascism seems to be spreading around the city.
Exciting times for Peaky Blinders fans, but how long will Tommy be around? Will his legacy survive?.

The rest of the rest of the cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee and Ian Peck, with Barry Keoghan and Stephen Graham. Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will be shown in select cinemas in the UK and Ireland on March 6th 2026, and then debuts on Netflix from March 20th 2026.
