Titan Company Ltd, the country's leading watch and branded jewellery maker, on Monday said it has fully redeemed commercial papers worth Rs 1,000 crore issued on July 21, 2026.

Besides, it has also paid maturity proceeds to all holders, according to a regulatory filing by Titan, a Tata Group-managed firm.

"We wish to inform you that the company has fully redeemed the commercial papers (CPs) of ₹1,000 crore issued on July 21, 2026," it said.

The redemption was carried out in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (Sebi) operational circular governing the issue and listing of non-convertible securities and commercial papers.

Commercial papers are short-term, unsecured money market instruments issued by companies to meet their short-term funding requirements. They are typically used to finance working capital and other immediate business needs.

The redemption marks the repayment of the commercial paper issue upon maturity, with the company confirming that all holders have received their dues.

Titan, a JV between Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu government, has a presence across watches and wearables, jewellery, eyewear and other lifestyle categories through brands such as Titan, Tanishq, Mia, CaratLane, and Fastrack.
