Genesis Bikes just expanded its lineup of adventure-ready gravel bikes with three new models, including the all-new CDA Junior. The CDA (Croix de Alloy) collection is designed to be versatile yet affordable. There are three models in the new CDA lineup: CDA Junior, CDA 10, and CDA 20. Find details on each of them below.
Genesis CDA Junior
The all-new Genesis CDA Junior is designed for riders between 140 and 157cm (4’7″ and 5’1″) tall. Perfect for forest trails, canal paths, and family bikepacking adventures, it features a lightweight aluminum frame and fork engineered specifically for smaller riders. According to Genesis, “The refined geometry, optimized for 24-inch wheels, ensures confident and stable handling across varied terrain, while its compact design – with a 468mm effective top tube and 340mm seat tube – provides a comfortable, confidence-boosting fit.” It’s great to see two sets of bottle mounts inside the main triangle, as well as top tube mounts and bottle mounts on the fork legs.
The CDA Junior comes with a microSHIFT Advent 1×9 drivetrain that offers easy maintenance and a wide range of gears for kids to use. It comes specced with 2.1″ Maxxis Pace tires, mechanical disc brakes, and an Amplitude G-50 handlebar. The CDA Junior retails for £749.99/€899 and comes in one size/color. See more here.
Genesis CDA 10
The Genesis CDA 10 is designed to be an entry-level bike for adults looking to get into gravel, commuting, and bikepacking. It’s built up around a ALX 6061 aluminum frame and chromoly fork, Shimano’s new ESSA 1×8 drivetrain, and 45mm Maxxis Rambler tires. There are plenty of mounting points, including three-pack fork mounts, top tube bosses, mounts under the downtube, as well as rack and fender mounts.
The CDA 10 retails for £799.99/€979 and comes in five sizes and one color. Check it out here.
Genesis CDA 20
At £999.99/€1,199, the CDA 20 is the most expensive model in the Genesis CDA lineup. It features the same aluminum frame and chromoly fork as the CDA 10, but is specced with higher-end parts, including a Shimano CUES 2×10 drivetrain, TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes, and 45mm Maxxis Rambler tires. It looks like it offers great value for the price.
The CDA 20 is also available in five sizes and a single color option. See it here.
