The encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in a remote forested area in Bihali area of Basantgarh in Udhampur earlier today.

The terrorist, who was killed in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, was a top commander of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

The terrorist was trained by the Special Service Group (SSG), the special forces of the Pakistan Army. He was behind the multiple attacks in Kathua, Udhampur and Doda. The terrorist was active in the area for over a year.
