Addressing party leaders and workers at Telangana Bhavan, he said the Congress would wage a battle against alleged vote theft at the Ramlila Maidan rally. Claiming that 13.5 crore votes had already been deleted, he alleged that another seven crore votes could be removed in the coming days.

Mr. Reddy alleged that poor people were being targeted through the deletion of their votes and accused the BJP of conspiring to ensure that Mr. Modi returned to power.

Referring to the difficulties faced by party workers in travelling to Delhi, he said a large number of people from Telangana had reached the national capital despite trains being stopped.
