Lionsgate have released the first trailer for their new thriller She Rides Shotgun, which you can watch below!

Golde Globe Winner Taron Egerton (Smoke, Rocketman) stars as an ex-con released from prison and on the run from enemies, but who has had to bring his daughter Polly (Ana Sophia Heger) along for the ride – and into danger. Nick Rowland (Calm With Horses) is directing from a script penned by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, and is based on the novel of the same name by Jordan Harper.

Where can you run when there’s nowhere to hide? Taron Egerton stars as newly released ex-con Nate in this gritty, explosive action-thriller. Marked for death by unrelenting enemies, Nate must now protect his estranged 11-year-old daughter, Polly (Ana Sophia Heger), at all costs. Shy, precocious, and wary of her father, Polly is swept up in Nate’s dangerous plight as they flee to evade the corrupt sheriff and brutal leader of a gang who will stop at nothing to protect his criminal interests. Egerton is already having a strong year: his latest show for Apple TV+, Smoke, has enjoyed acclaim and will next be seen in Apex, an action thriller alongside Charlize Theron and Eric Bana. His last film, Carry On, was a huge success for Netflix last year, too.
