Tottenham take on Sydney FC in the second game of their tour of Australasia this morning.

Spurs have enjoyed a strong pre-season so far, following up a 1-0 win over MK Dons with a 2-0 victory against A-League champions Auckland FC at Eden Park.

Dane Scarlett and Richarlison were on target for Roberto De Zerbi’s men, who are hoping to get back to the right end of the Premier League table in 2026-27 after successive 17th-placed finishes.

They have invested heavily in the transfer window to bolster De Zerbi’s squad with the likes of Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke and Mateus Fernandes brought in.

Sydney finished fifth in the A-League last season but went on to reach the Grand Final, losing 1-0 to Auckland.
