The Pie Hole founder and president Jenell Parsons says she received an email in June from someone claiming to be from the BC Lions inviting her to be a vendor at the team’s home opener at BC Place. Parsons says the email appeared authentic and with team’s home opener just days away, she acted fast and accepted the offer. But after paying the vendor fee, filling out a credit card authorization form and baking hundreds of pies and cookies, when she arrived on game day at BC Place, she says she received shocking news from security.
