Samsung has upped the ante in the foldable smartphones segment with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event today. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 looks and feels stunning in its thinnest, lightest, and flexible form factor, and Samsung has taken tech up a few notches with advanced Galaxy AI-enabled camera, creaseless display, powerful AI features, and "bar-type experience".

With an incredible thin profile of 8.9mm folded and 4.2mm unfolded and weighing just 215 gm, Samsung’s thinnest book-style foldable is lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and a head-turner and display marvel. The Z Fold 7 has a new hinge design with minimal appearance of the crease on the primary display.

Under its hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset built on a 3nm process, which gives superior performance.

The Z Fold 7 packs a powerful 200MP wide-angle primary camera, which is huge jump from the 50MP one on the Z Fold 6. On the front, it has a 10MP camera with 100-degree field of view.
