The call comes amid India’s sustained diplomatic engagement with key regional players since hostilities broke out between Iran and the United States and Israel on February 28. New Delhi has maintained contact with multiple stakeholders in the conflict, driven by concerns over peace, the safety of Indian nationals in the Gulf and energy security.
