A man told staff at a Chick-fil-A in Atlanta to “serve me” or “get ready to die” on Tuesday night.

The man stole $200 during the incident, which unfolded at 9.40 pm, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

The APD also shared footage of the robbery, which showed the suspect leaning through one of the restaurant’s drive-through windows.

Dressed in a black hoodie, the man waves his hands several times and continually taps a shelf directly in front of him.

In the video, the Chick-fil-A employees are seen racing away from the window, and the APD confirms they fled in response to a threat from the suspect.

"You are going to serve me or get ready to die about some chicken,” the man said, according to the APD.

In the footage, the man suddenly whips out his hand and opens a drawer containing money. Shortly after snatching some of the cash notes from the drawer, he bolts out of sight.

Towards the end of the video, the unidentified suspect can be seen driving away in a silver SUV.

Now, investigators with the APD’s Larceny Unit are appealing for more information about the suspect who robbed the Chick-fil-A at 875 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

In a statement, Chick-fil-A Vine City owner-operator Quincy Springs IV told The Independent that the franchise is working with authorities in their investigation.

"The safety and wellbeing of our Team Members and Guests is our highest priority,” he said. “We are grateful that everyone is safe.

“We are actively working with law enforcement as they continue their investigation."

This latest incident comes just months after a report conducted by investment bank and financial services company William Blair found that just 72 percent of Chick-fil-A workers would recommend their jobs to a friend.

The study, which has been running for 11 years, examined employee satisfaction scores on Glassdoor for nearly 90 restaurant chains. Nearly 530,000 reviews were considered in the survey.

Chick-fil-A still managed to beat Chipotle, Starbucks, Wendy’s and Panera Bread, though. All of those chains reported an employee satisfaction rate of 53 percent or less.

For the tenth year in a row, In-N-Out topped the ranking, with 91 percent of employees saying they would recommend their job to friends.
