It’s almost hard to believe that the first Red Bull Rampage took place all the way back in 2001. In October, the 2026 event will be the 20th edition of the world’s premier freeride mountain bike competition in its 25-year history. As always, it’s sure to be a mind-blowing spectacle that changes our perceptions of what’s possible on two wheels.

While the athletes competing at Red Bull Rampage have always pushed the boundaries of what’s possible, it’s remarkable to see how far freeride mountain biking has progressed in 25 years. And that progression is what makes it so exciting and compelling to watch. Each year, our minds are blown by the creative lines, aggressive riding, and massive stunts thrown down by veteran and up-and-coming riders alike.

The women’s athlete roster has already been revealed, and today, Red Bull has announced the men’s roster, including 18 of the best freeride mountain bike athletes from around the world. Eight of those athletes were automatically prequalified from last year’s event, including Hayden Zablotny, the defending 2025 champion.

Winning Red Bull Rampage last year was a dream come true and the biggest achievement of my career yet,” says Zablotny. “That terrain is like nothing else, and it always pushes you to dream bigger with the builds and take your riding to the next level.”

The 10 wild cards and 5 alternates were selected based on competition results, video submissions, and riding ability by a committee of former Rampage competitors, pro athletes, judges, and industry experts. The 2026 men’s field includes former Rampage champions, established freeride standouts, and four rookies, all of whom will bring their own unique perspective and style to the rugged terrain in southwest Utah.
