Raushan Sir’s brother, accused in 'Khan Sir' coaching centre vandalism case, dies under mysterious circumstances in Nepal

Prince (Left), the brother of coaching educator Raushan Anand, accused in the vandalism of Khan Sir's (Right) institute, has died under mysterious circumstances in Nepal.

PATNA: Prince, the brother of coaching educator Raushan Anand, who was among the accused in high-profile vandalism case linked to educator Khan Sir's coaching institute on June 2, has died under mysterious circumstances in Nepal.Sources said the deceased was facing allegations in connection with the attack on Khan Global Studies in Patna's Kadamkuan area. The exact circumstances surrounding his death in Nepal remain unclear.

The development comes against the backdrop of an ongoing legal battle stemming from the violence at Khan Global Studies. The case relates to an incident in which two security guards deployed at the institute allegedly fired shots into the air during a disturbance.

The guards were subsequently arrested, and police later named Khan Sir in the case under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.Seeking anticipatory bail, Khan's counsel had argued that the guards acted in self-defence to disperse a crowd and that the allegations against the educator were limited to claims that he had instructed them to fire. The defence further submitted that the guards had been hired through a private security agency and that the firearms used were legally licensed.

The court was also informed that Khan had cooperated with investigators by facilitating the appearance of the guards before police and providing the relevant documents. The prosecution opposed the plea, citing the statement of one of the arrested guards and alleging misuse of a firearm licence.

What do you think about the bail decision for Raushan Anand?

It was justifiedIt was unfair

After hearing both sides, the court said a detailed examination of records was required before a decision could be taken on the anticipatory bail petition.Meanwhile, a court had rejected the bail plea of Raushan Anand, owner of another coaching institute, after Khan alleged that he may have been involved in orchestrating the attack on his institute.
