So that's all we have for your after a big Saturday of football.

The big winners were Fremantle, Melbourne, Collingwood and Brisbane - and all four produced big moments to keep on track as we head toward September.

Tomorrow we will be back again for the final three games of round 19, beginning with Richmond vs Hawthorn at the MCG from 1:10pm AEST.

Later, the Suns will host the Bulldogs on the Gold Coast, before Essendon and GWS bring us home at Docklands.

Brisbane have jumped into third position on the AFL ladder after climbing out of a hole to defeat West Coast by 24 points.

The Lions had to overturn a 22-point first-quarter deficit and some wayward kicking throughout to reel in the Eagles 13.15 (93) to 10.9 (69) at Perth's Perth Stadium on Saturday night.

It was Brisbane's sixth straight victory, their bid for a third successive premiership continuing to gain serious momentum.

Superstars Lachie Neale and Will Ashcroft racked up 32 disposals each, Josh Dunkley added 28 and Kai Lohmann slotted four majors.

Lohmann goaled late in the opening stanza after snaffling a spectacular hanger over teammate Logan Morris and opponent Rhett Bazzo.

West Coast were buzzing early, sprinting to a 15-point quarter-time lead despite harbouring some injury concerns.

The match was barely a minute old when forward Jack Hutchinson went off with a hamstring injury.

Later in the opening term Harley Reid, moments after he produced a pack-busting clearance followed by a fend-off on Lohmann, got his left ankle tangled up with Noah Answerth's foot while copping a solid bump from the Lions defender.

Reid went off for a HIA, which he passed, but his ankle was the bigger concern, not helped when he appeared to trip on a step while in the dugout.

Reid's evening looked finished as he remained glued to the bench to start the second period, but he eventually returned to the field and was the Eagles' best player, posting 23 touches and 10 clearances.

Despite falling behind 5.1 to 1.4 at one stage, Brisbane dominated possession and territory virtually from the outset.

But they let themselves down with poor finishing, Morris the chief offender with 0.3 at half-time, by which stage the Lions had three more scoring shots but still trailed by seven points.

The visitors found their radar after the main break, moving ahead when Zac Bailey goaled, then adding to their lead with further majors to Neale and Morris.

Brisbane won the quarter 6.2 to 2.3 to move 16 points clear at the final change, which proved more than enough.

Jake Waterman (five goals) and Jobe Shanahan (three) always threatened forward of the ball for West Coast, combining for eight majors without a miss.

So here we are, with three games to go in round 19, and the top four is Fremantle, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, with the Lions and Crows still separated only by 0.6 of a percentage point.

Collingwood have extended their dominance of Carlton to six-straight games, downing their arch-rivals by 21 points in an MCG blockbuster to supercharge their finals hopes.

In another tense battle between the famous foes, the Magpies always had an answer for the injury-hit Blues to prevail 14.6 (90) to 10.9 (69) on Saturday night in front of 83,885 fans.

Carlton hit the lead midway through the third quarter after booting three-straight goals, but Collingwood responded immediately and never gave up their advantage again.

It was a fifth-straight win for the Magpies, putting them in seventh and in the box seat to at least secure a wildcard spot.

Collingwood hasn't lost to Carlton since 2023 and the Pies now are just one shy of equalling their best winning sequence against the Blues, set back in 1897-99.

Carlton were dominant at clearance early in the match, but Collingwood defended exceptionally and moved the ball superbly inside-50 to catch the Blues off guard.

Not only did Carlton have to overcome recent history against Collingwood, they were two players down for most of the second half.

Harry McKay's night ended after just 10 minutes, following his knee knocking into teammate Sam Walsh.

The one-time Coleman medallist tried to come back on the ground, spending an extended period on an exercise bike, but was instead ruled out early in the second quarter.

After just six possessions and time spent on the wing, Adam Cerra was ruled out of the match in the third quarter with hamstring tightness in a continuation of his soft-tissue problems.

Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos was typically explosive and influential with a game-high 36 possessions.

Veteran forward Tim Membrey kicked a game-high three goals, all his majors coming at vital moments for the Magpies.

The only concern for Collingwood was defender Isaac Quaynor going off to be assessed with an arm injury in the final term.

But Quaynor was able to return to the ground in the final minutes.

Carlton's prime movers — captain Patrick Cripps (30 touches, two goals), Sam Walsh (25, one) and Jagga Smith (29, one) — were all impressive, the Blues just had too many passengers.

After seven-straight wins under caretaker coach Josh Fraser, the Blues have crashed to two-consecutive defeats following a thumping loss to Hawthorn last week.

Fraser is yet to declare if he will go through the process to find the Blues' permanent senior coach, with the last fortnight hindering his chances.

The Pies may have three of their last five at the MCG, but they may need every one of those home games.

The Crows at Adelaide Oval on Thursday will be a blockbuster, and aside from a trip to Perth, having Geelong, Hawthorn and Brisbane to finish will be a serious test.

This is a tough final five games for the Lions. They should beat Port Adelaide and they will fancy themselves against Gold Coast in the Q-Clash, but Carlton, Hawthorn and Collingwood will be tough outings, and the results will be the difference between potentially top two and missing top four.

Another big wrestle saw the game end as it had gone on, leaving Kai Lohmann out and free to waltz into goal and kick the final score for the Lions.

The siren sounds, and Brisbane wins by 24 points.

There were times when the Eagles really took it to the defending premiers, but when the crunch came, the Lions had enough class to see it through.

The win is Brisbane's sixth in a row, and it sees the Lions up to third on the ladder!

We are deep, deep in time on, and the Eagles are still trying.

The lead is back to 18 points, but the Lions are clear here.

The time is running down, and the Eagles go forward, and Harris Andrews gives away a free for a high shot.

Jake Waterman runs round and snaps his fifth, and the lead is back to 18 points with four on the clock.

West Coast are trying furiously to close the gap, but they keep making errors at key moments.

Only for Charlie Cameron catching Liam Baker high on the wing, it would have been a 100-metre sprint between Cameron and Kai Lohmann for a goal.

The Lions were out, running down the left wing and then centred the ball with Brisbane players everywhere.

Cam Rayner dropped the mark, and was levelled by Liam Baker.

Free to Brisbane, and Rayner kicks it through.

The crowd is unhappy, but it was clearly a free. he got a shoulder or elbow to the head.

The question is whether Rayner has to have a HIA.

The margin is 24, and that could well be enough with eight minutes left.

That 60 seconds was a tale in itself.

Jobe Shanahan marked in the right forward pocket, and went back to have a crack from a difficult angle.

It slid to the left. No score, and Harris Andrews marked.

The Lions cleared quickly, and they nearly went coast to coast.

The ball was held inside forward 50, and after a few desperate handballs it fell to Levi Ashcroft, whose brilliant snap silenced the Perth crowd.

Back to an 17-point game.

There it is!

It's been a scrappy exchange on the wing under huge pressure, but eventually Oliver Francou got the ball to Elliot Yeo, and his kick deep inside 50 was marked by Jake Waterman on the behind line.

He stepped inside and thumped it into the stands from a metre out, and the West Coast fans go crazy!

It's an 11-point game!

We are a couple of minutes into the final quarter in Perth, and the Eagles are trying hard to get the vital first goal of the last term.

But they keep missing the kick to set up the shot.

Twice already the Lions have chopped off attacking kicks in D50.

West Coast has got enough time here, but they have to start taking their chances.

The premiers found something resembling their groove in that third quarter, hitting the front midway through the term and maintaining a 15-ish point lead since then.

The their credit, the Eagles have refused to be blown away, and with Harley Reid out there, this one feels far from over.

16 points the margin at the final break.

It's Kai Lohmann, who has been one of the Lions' best today, marking just inside the arc and walloping his set shot between the big sticks.

That takes the Lions' lead back out to 15 points, with the final break mere moments away.

The chants are going around the ground, and the roar is huge as the siren sounds.

Collingwood gets the win over their rivals Carlton, and it ends up as a 21-point margin.

Carlton tried hard all night, and they came close at times, but the injuries to Harry McKay and Adam Cerra probably told in the end.

Huge efforts from Nick Daicos (35 disposals) and Patrick Cripps (30 touches, two goals) but it's the Pies who come away happy after this one in front of 83,885.

"Good old Collingwood Forever" is ROARED out by the Magpie fans. Brilliant stuff on a wet night at the 'G.

That is an excellent goal from Jobe Shanahan, and it just about keeps the Eagles in this one with the final break fast approaching.
