PhonePe on Monday rebranded its stock broking platform Share.Market as PhonePe Invest, integrating it under the PhonePe brand umbrella alongside its payments, lending and insurance services. The move aims to broaden the platform’s reach across PhonePe’s existing user base.
Alongside the rebrand, the company launched Portfolio Optimiser, a proprietary portfolio intelligence tool designed to guide investors through building, reviewing and optimising their investment portfolios. The tool offers research-backed ratings, Hold, Monitor or Sell, on holdings across all linked demat accounts, and provides a one-click rebalancing feature that flags underperforming assets and sector concentration risks.
Portfolio Optimiser will be available on the dedicated PhonePe Invest app for active investors, with simplified entry points also integrated into the main PhonePe app.
Rahul Chari, Founder and CPTO of PhonePe, said the rebrand reflects the company’s intent to democratise investing for Indians the way it did payments.
Existing Share.Market users will retain their demat holdings, balances, watchlists, order history and login credentials. The company said brokerage structures, fee plans and annual maintenance charges will remain unchanged.
PhonePe Wealth Broking Private Limited, incorporated in April 2021, is registered with NSE, BSE, CDSL, SEBI and AMFI. The platform, launched in August 2023, offers stocks, mutual funds, IPOs, F&O and WealthBaskets to investors across experience levels.
