OnePlus Nord 5 Series Launched: OnePlus has officially launched its two highly anticipated additions to its Nord lineup in India — the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE5 — along with the OnePlus Buds 4 on Tuesday, July 8. The Nord 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile, making it the most powerful Nord device to date, according to the company. Meanwhile, Nord CE5 stands out with a massive 7,100 mAh battery — a capacity usually found in a tablet.

OnePlus Nord 5 is available in three variants and three colour options. It is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, featuring a 4nm architecture and flagship Kryo CPU, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. With this, the OnePlus Nord 5 has become the first device in the Nord series to feature a Snapdragon 8-Series chipset.

The OnePlus Nord CE5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, built on TSMC’s advanced 4nm process and based on the latest Armv9 architecture. For graphics, the chipset includes a 6-core Mali-G615 GPU, which delivers up to a 60 per cent boost in peak GPU performance while reducing power consumption by 55 per cent, according to the company.

One of the standout features of the Nord CE5 is its 7,100 mAh battery — a capacity usually reserved for tablets. To complement this massive battery, the device supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of charging from 1 per cent to 100 per cent in just 59 minutes. Additionally, a quick 10-minute charge can power over 6 hours of YouTube streaming, the company said.
