Seems not even a book deal can save her now.
The disgraced Sarah Ferguson has apparently been snubbed by several American publishing houses after pitching the idea of a tell-all memoir.
According to Hollywood sources the 66-year-old former wife of disgraced royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was hoping to score a $2-million (R32-million) book deal but has been met by a humiliating string of rejections, The Sunday Express reports.
“It seems no one is remotely interested in being seen to be enabling her to cash in on the Epstein scandal that has torn her family apart.”
It’s a far cry from her previous foray into the US media world, where she worked as a correspondent for NBC’s Today show and served as the face of Weight Watchers.
But those heady days are long gone.

She’s now seen as persona non grata after shocking revelations of her close relationship with Epstein came to light.
It emerged that the late American paedophile bankrolled the former duchess for nearly 15 years, helping to pay off her debts and giving her handouts in a bid to ingratiate himself with Prince Andrew.

Fergie in turn considered Epstein a “supreme friend”, once jokingly asking him to “marry her” even after he’d been convicted of child sex trafficking.
Having published several adult and children’s books, Fergie will find this publishing snub a bitter blow, especially as she’s now essentially broke following the removal of any financial support from Andrew after his arrest.

According to the Daily Mail, Fergie, whose whereabouts are still unknown, has told friends she “needs to get back to work, I need money.”
However, quite how she’s going to earn it remains a mystery.

She’s been dropped by seven charities in the UK as their patron and in February her own charity, Sarah’s Trust, announced it would be closing down.
Now the stain of her and Andrew’s Epstein involvement is seeping into their daughters’ lives.

Princess Eugenie has stepped down as patron of Anti-Slavery International, the world’s oldest human rights organisation.
In a statement, the charity said: “After seven years, our patronage from HRH Princess Eugenie of York has come to an end.
“We thank the Princess very much for her support for Anti-Slavery International. We hope that she continues to work to end slavery.”

While there was no suggestion that Eugenie or her sister, Princess Beatrice, were ever involved in Epstein’s crimes, their names did appear alongside Fergie’s in the Epstein files, the millions of documents relating to the financier’s sex trafficking investigation.
According to The Mail on Sunday, Buckingham Palace has also decided that the princesses will not be present at Royal Ascot this year, an event they traditionally attended.
