He may be estranged from his famous parents, but spare a thought for Brooklyn Beckham’s grandmothers who are said to be reeling from the split.

Insiders say that Victoria Beckham’s mom, Jackie Adams (74), and David’s mother, Sandra (76), are “very sad” about the rift that has distanced them from their grandchild.

Jackie was a steady presence in Brooklyn’s early years when his parents were both away due to work commitments and the two formed a close bond.

“David and Victoria are coming to terms with not having Brooklyn around as much, they’re saddened but they’re accepting it,” an insider says.

“But it’s the grandmothers who are really feeling it. They adore Brooklyn. They had such a close bond with him. He loved them dearly, but now they don’t see him.”

Jackie, a former hairdresser, made sure to include the budding chef in her Christmas decorations by hanging up a stocking with his name on alongside his siblings.

Victoria shared the display on her Instagram Stories, showing her mother’s decorations which featured red stockings for Brooklyn and his siblings, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, alongside those of their many cousins.

As the rift rumbles on, it’s believed Brooklyn (26) will remain in Los Angeles with his actress wife, Nicola Peltz (30), over the festive season.

Brooklyn has not attended any family celebrations this year, including his father’s 50th birthday in May.

However, he broke his silence to wish Sandra happy birthday in June.

For Thanksgiving recently, Nicola shared a cryptic post which read, “Those we love and have lost are no longer where they were, but are everywhere we are.”

Brooklyn in turn shared a romantic snap of him lifting up his wife with the caption, “I love you”.

Sources have suggested that Nicola “very much enjoys” Brooklyn’s devotion to her and that this has been a key factor in the feud with his family.

“He will do anything Nicola wants,” a friend says. “And that has very much been a thing in the fallout.”

Brooklyn has no interest in mending things, another source told Us Weekly. “He’s really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola.”
