Wealth managers say these funds are gaining traction because they can move across asset classes and help reduce volatility, making them appealing to investors seeking a more stable, all-weather investment option, as reported by ETBureau.

Data from mutual fund industry body AMFI show assets under management of multi-asset funds surged 72% over the last year to Rs 1.75 lakh crore amid a decline in returns from plain-vanilla equity schemes.

As per Value Research, multi-asset funds delivered 23% over the last year, as against the Nifty 50 that returned 14.27%
