The parents of a three-year-old boy who died following a horrific car crash have been charged with manslaughter.
Caden Case, died at a police station on October 25, 2025 after a collision in Queensland, Australia.
Bodycam footage released by police on Friday, February 27 shows the moment his mother Aneshia Daisy Case, 23, is handcuffed by a detective from the police’s Child Trauma Unit.

Her arrest comes after a four-month investigation into the bizarre death, according to Australian media.
Caden was rushed to Beenleigh Police Station by a member of the public, along with his mother then aged 22, following the car crash that occurred at about 5am.
The infant suffered critical head injuries and was pronounced dead at the station. The family's white Mazda veered off the road and crashed in bushland.
Samuel Ian Paterson, 24, the boy's father was found by police at a Beenleigh home about 90 minutes later with a one-year-old boy.
They took the boy to hospital for further assessment where he was later cleared.
Ms Case, who is now 23-years old, has been charged with manslaughter domestic violence against a child, trafficking dangerous drugs, driving without a proper driver’s licence and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.
Mr Paterson has been charged with manslaughter domestic violence against a child and trafficking dangerous drugs.
Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit formed Operation Xray Grid with specialist police units and carried out a four month investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Detective Acting Inspector Kent Ellis has commented that the investigation was "extremely complex" and involved a forensic reconstruction of the crash and analysis of physical evidence and CCTV footage.
"Determining who was driving at the time of impact required an extensive amount of investigative work," he said on Friday.
"Extensive forensic and mechanical investigations, analysis of physical evidence, extensive analysis of CCTV, digital and additional intelligence enquiries."
