The SIU said the alleged carjacking happened at around 11 p.m. Monday at the Shops at Don Mills involving a Rolls Royce, and a BMW with no licence plates was also involved. The suspects fled the scene in both vehicles and were pursued by police southbound on the DVP towards the Gardiner Expressway. SIU spokesperson Kristy Denette said there is no information if there was any high speed chase with police cruisers. She said Toronto Police utilized York Regional Police’s helicopter to track the suspects and then set up a roadblock on the Gardiner Expressway near the DVP. Global's Sean O'Shea reports.
