Waterman goal ruled out for a poster
That's an important goal for West Coast - or it was, before the ARC showed Jake Waterman's set shot from the right forward pocket had clipped the post on the way through.
We're nearly halfway through the third term, and the Eagles have just 2.11.

Harley Reid frustration mounts as Swans in again
The Eagles are frustrated here, and no one is more so than Harley Reid.
The West Coast number nine has just given away another free for a bump on Angus Sheldrick, and it's led to another goal from Jake Lloyd.
Sydney have four goals already in this quarter, and the lead is up to 85 points. With so much time left in this one, you just wonder how far the margin might get.

Swans go back-to-back-to-back to start second half
The Eagles don't have an answer to Sydney right now - but I'm not sure who does when they are dominating like this.
They win another clearance, get the ball to Nick Blakey on the wing, he runs to 50 and unloads for another goal.
And then they're in again! Papley lays a run-down tackle, and the Swans come forward to Joel Amartey, who marks and handballs to Charlie Curnow, who kicks his fourth.
We've more than 17 minutes left in the third term, and Sydney has kicked three goals already.
The Swans have hit the century mark, and it's an 80-point lead.

Swans get the jump again, Heeney has three
Do you think Sydney are happy to have Isaac Heeney back?
He has slotted his third, less than a minute after half-time - but it wouldn't have happened if the Swans hadn't put the pressure on.
Harley Reid tried to run it out of defence and got crunched.
Jake Lloyd had the free kick and he hit up Heeney in the right forward pocket, and Heeney curled it through.
The lead is 69 points.

Carlton's Will Hayward facing one-match ban for striking
From a little earlier, the Match Review Panel came back after looking at Good Friday's matches.
The headline was Carlton's Will Hayward facing a one-match ban for striking North Melbourne's George Wardlaw in the third quarter of the Kangaroos' win at Docklands.
Hayward's strike was assessed as intentional conduct, medium impact, body contact. No early plea is possible, so the former Swan would have to beat the charge at the Tribunal to get off.

HT stats
- Inside 50s: 30-27 Sydney
- Clearances: 21-18 Sydney
- Centre clearances: 10-6 West Coast
- Contested Possessions: 70-52 Sydney
- Uncontested Possessions: 122-100 Sydney
- Marks inside 50: 12-4 Sydney
Sydney have 13 goals from 30 inside 50s, West Coast have two goals from 27 forward entries. That's the game right there.
The other side of it is the marks inside 50. With Joel Amartey, Isaac Heeney and others all hunting the ball inside the arc, the Eagles cannot afford to allow so many set shots from forward for Sydney.

HT: Sydney 13.5 (83) leads West Coast 2.8 (20)
Charlie Curnow has kicked three goals to half-time for the Swans (Getty Images)The Eagles grabbed a late goal back from Liam Baker, but when the siren sounds, it's a seven-goal quarter from the visitors to take control of the game.
The Swans have kicked 13 goals to two, and the Eagles have not had an answer thus far.
Isaac Heeney has been a standout, with 18 disposals and two goals - including one after the siren. Charlie Curnow has benefited from Sydney's domination, kicking three goals so far in the west.
Sydney's attack is irrepressible, and West Coast - who to be fair are definitely missing Elliot Yeo's experience and Deven Robertson's run-with abilities - are struggling to stop the scoring.

Swans hit back immediately
West Coast give it straight back, with a free at the centre ruck, compounded by Harley Reid tapping the ball away and giving away a 50.
Brodie Grundy kicks the goal from inside 50, deep in time on.

Jake Waterman finally gets West Coast on the board
The Swans kicked another goal to Harry Cunningham, but the Eagles have finally made a break through the middle, bouncing the ball inside 50 for Jake Waterman.
The mullet-haired forward runs onto the ball and hooks it home for a goal, as the Eagles fans roar in joy and relief.
The lead is back to 57.

Curnow has three, the Swans have 10
The Swans are just on top here.
They ran down Jamie Cripps, then got the ball forward to Chad Warner who fended off two Eagles in quick succession before chipping to Tom Papley.
Papley marked inside 50, saw Charlie Curnow up ahead and hooked the ball around his body to hit his teammate.
Curnow kicked the goal, he has three, Sydney has 10 and the lead is 57 points deep in time on.

A poster for Archer Reid!
The groans are echoing around Perth Stadium.
The Eagles had their shot there, getting the ball forward to Archer Reid on the left side of 50. His kick looked home, and the crowd rose in anticipation, but it swung at the last minute and hit the post.
West Coast have 22 inside 50s, for zero goals so far.

A miss from Amartey
That was a let-off for West Coast.
The Swans won a potentially cheap free kick but Joel Amartey had the kick and pushed it wide.
Sydney have 22 inside 50s for nine goals so far.

Curnow has his second of the day
Sydney is just putting on a display in the first half here.
They are just not letting themselves be tackled, or if they are they are getting the ball away.
They did it again there, with the ball hooked around to Chad Warner, who hit up Nick Blakey.
The Lizard could have gone for goal, but he steadied and hit up Charlie Curnow, who marked and goaled for his second of the day.
The lead is out to 50 points and the home side are finding it almost impossible to repel the Swans' attacks right now.

McInerney adds to Sydney's margin
This is a tough one for Eagles fans. The home side is being out-run, out-tackled and out-scored.
The Swans forced a turnover, and they pounced. The ball went forward and Justin McInerney was there to snap a goal - Sydney's eighth from 18 inside 50s.
The lead is 43 points.

Papley snaps a beauty for Sydney
The crowd is quiet at Perth Stadium, as the Swans get off to a fast start again.
They have been pushing the ball forward, winning contests and putting the Eagles under pressure.
Now they've earned a free on the wing for a tackle by Lewis Melican. He kicks to the hotspot, it comes off hands and falls to Tom Papley - and that's not good news for West Coast, as Papley hooks one back across his body for a great goal.
The Swans go to him - or they would if he wasn't already running to them to celebrate.
The lead is out beyond six goals and West Coast have to do something here and quickly.

QT: Sydney 6.2 (38) leads West Coast 0.5 (5)
Isaac Heeney has been getting plenty of the ball in his return for Sydney (Getty Images)The siren goes, and the Eagles trail by 33 points.
West Coast have had plenty of forward entries, but they haven't been able to do anything with it.
A quick comparison tells the story.
Sydney has tagged Harley Reid with James Jordon, and the Eagles young gun has just two touches so far.
In contrast, Isaac Heeney has 10 disposals, four clearances and a couple of inside 50s. He finished the quarter by running into an open goal and toeing the ball over the line for a major.
Put simply, the Swans have taken their chances, and the Eagles haven't.
Where are the goals going to come from for the home side? We can't see it right now.

Now Serong gets another and Swans are flying
This is a concern for West Coast.
The Swans are bursting clear almost at will and every time they do they look like scoring.
They have nine inside 50s, and now they have five goals - the latest coming from an excellent snap from distance from Jai Serong.

Amartey on target again as Swans kick clear
We spoke about the focus on Charlie Curnow and how many goals he can kick for Sydney, but Joel Amartey has been quietly ticking over and he's had a fast start tonight.
Tim Kelly gave the ball away and Sydney made them pay, kicking forward and finding Amartey, who kicked his second.
The lead is getting worrying even this early, as the Eagles are just not making inroads.
